All TBA Players performances are held at the Just Off Broadway Theatre located at 3051 Central in Penn Valley Park. The property had been a stable and storage barn for the Parks and Recreation Department. It was designed in 1909 by the noted Kansas City Architectural firm of Root and Siemens and completed in 1910 for $20,652.
The building was heavily damaged by a fire in May 1991 which was thought to have been accidentally set by transients.
Leaving the damaged walls up, Parks and Rec built a black box theatre - a love story for Terry Dopson, director of P&R - which opened in 1991 and seats up to 250 persons. It is "home" to some 16 various organizations for theatre, music, dance, playwright festivals, etc.
